At times I can be a bit of a handful, and my husband is a real trooper. Just this month, he took care of me during a marathon flu episode and then subsequently watched our kids all weekend while I attended a high school friend’s wedding. On a more regular basis, he listens to me gripe about my desire to change things up in our home. Somehow every week something is just not jiving with me. Are the curtains outdated? Do we need more kitchen storage? Larger indoor plants? I’m sure it’s exhausting for him, but for the most part he nods and asks me to email him so we can discuss it in the near future. This always satisfies me, even though I’ve now realized it is actually an advanced diversion technique as he knows I will never remember to email him. Nonetheless, the latest of my home décor woes is a lust for a springy fabric to add lightness to our moody interiors. I stopped by Fairfax Fabric on Magazine St. for inspiration and was not disappointed. Spring has sprung in the textile world and there are plenty of beautiful bolts of fabric to peruse. Here are a few of my favorites – and I think I’ll let this post serve as the email reminder to my husband that I want new living room pillows!
