St. Bernard Parish Announces Fall Registration After-School Ballet Program

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The New Orleans Ballet Association (NOBA) in partnership with the St. Bernard Parish School Board and the Greater New Orleans Foundation’s ExxonMobil Fund, is excited to offer tuition-free after-school ballet classes once again in St. Bernard Parish for youth ages 6-18. The fall session includes high quality instruction in ballet technique, along with choreography sessions in preparation for a special costumed performance on Dec. 13 at the Chalmette High Cultural Arts Center theater.

The St. Bernard After-School Ballet Program is designed to cultivate a child’s appreciation for the arts while building self-esteem. Striving to serve children and their families, NOBA, Chalmette Refining, L.L.C. and the St. Bernard Parish School Board partnered in 1995 to offer this program for the youth of St. Bernard Parish.
