Meredith Long is director of performance arts at St. Martin’s Episcopal School, and is co-director of St. Martin’s Theater Camp. With summer approaching, parents and students are beginning to think about summer camps. St. Martin’s creative Theater Camp introduces children to all aspects of the theater, from performing on stage to learning about the critical behind-the-scenes work that makes productions possible. As Long points out, Theater Camp immerses students in stimulating new experiences: “We focus on the process…and having fun, just playing.” The camp is open to students going into second through tenth grades, and will run from June 5 – 23, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
