Stanley Kubrick Retrospective – Prytania Theatres at Canal Place

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Prytania Theatre presents Stanley Kubrick Retrospective Fridays and Saturdays at 10:00 p.m. and Sundays at 7:30 p.m. from July 16 – Aug. 8 at The Prytania Theatres at Canal Place. The Prytania Theatre Uptown has done Director Repertories for 10 years now and we are excited to expand that programming to our new downtown location at Canal Place.

Stanley Kubrick Retrospective

Stanley Kubrick was an American film director, producer, screenwriter, and photographer. In celebration of one of the greatest filmmakers in cinematic history, The Prytania Theatres at Canal Place Presents the Stanley Kubrick Retrospective. From July 16-18, The Shining will be showing. From July 23-25, Dr. Strangelove will be featured. From July 30-August 1, 2001: A Space Odyssey will play, and from August 6-8, The Prytania Theatres at Canal Place will show Full Metal Jacket. All showtimes are at 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and at 7:30 PM on Sundays. Tickets are on sale NOW!
