For Ashley Porter, founding Porter Lyons was a way to honor her family lineage while exploring the beauty, history, and unmistakable hauntedness of New Orleans. Her creative instincts live between opulence and strangeness, refinement and wildness. Drawn to ancient symbols, imperfect natural forms, and objects that feel as though they have lived another life, Ashley creates pieces destined to become the future heirlooms of another family.
Ashley will soon debut Chronomare, a jewelry collection inspired by the ocean as our oldest timekeeper, alongside her first sculpture—a work centered on the preservation of Louisiana’s natural world. Together, they form another verse of the same lifelong song: one of transcendence, disappearance, and what we choose to carry forward.
