Stitched with (NOLA) Love

We commonly discuss the topic of finding the perfect gifts for bridal party members. It can be difficult to find new or exciting items to present to your maids, but luckily New Orleans is filled to the brim with creative natives with shops stocked full of handmade items.

One of those New Orleans-born artists is Christine Williamson. Williamson, who now lives in Alabama, is a self-taught fiber artist with a passion for all things quilting. Williamson’s company UpClearCreek offers a variety of items from makeup bags to holiday stockings and quilts.

UpClearCreek makeup bags are an adorable keepsake great for bridesmaids or even mothers of the couple. Bags are individually made and can act as a personalized artistic notion. Williamson also makes quilted fabric bags to fit iPads or tablets, great for tech-savvy maids or men on the go.

Visit the UpClearCreek Facebook page and Instagram for more information, photos and how to contact Williamson.
