NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Visa is teaming up with students from Warren Easton Charter High School (WECHS) for a financial education event. The event will feature NFL athletes sharing their insights on the importance of financial education as students team up to compete in an exhilarating game of Financial Football.
Financial Football is a Madden-style video game that is designed to teach students essential money management skills in a fun and interactive way. Students will have the chance to tackle financial questions and score big alongside NFL stars, all while learning how to make smart financial decisions for their future.
In addition to the event at WECHS, Visa is inviting schools from across the state to participate in their own virtual Financial Football evens, where the students’ cumulative efforts will unveil the first-ever game day prediction courtesy of Louisiana students.
Caryn Kaiser, senior vice president at Visa, and a local football superstar will join more than 80 WECHS students Feb. 6 at the school.
