Guests flocked on June 8 to Generations Hall for the 21st annual March of Dimes fund-raiser “Spotlight on Success,” honoring New Orleans’ outstanding single professionals. WDSU-TV’s Camille Whitworth served as the hostess for the evening that began with a complimentary cocktail hour and a buffet featuring dozens of culinary delights from restaurants all over town. The Bucktown All-Stars performed and a silent auction took place, keeping guests engaged. New Orleans Magazine was the presenting sponsor.
Honorees included: Emily Bull, Joshua Caillavet, Chris Gaffney, Barbara Hallenbeck, Angela Isbell, Christian Jenson, Tom Lupo, Chad Mac, Cheryl Mintz, Sara Montalbano, Jayna Morgan, Deana Murray, Jason Parker, Angie Pellegrin, Suzanne Perron, Stacy Porter, Donna Rehage, Tim Thomasson, Sheddrick Wilson, Anne Wingfield and Andrea Zupardo.
By the end of the night, more than $80,000 dollars was raised for the March of Dimes, which is dedicated to the prevention of birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
