New Orleans native Dr. Suneeta Walia enjoys helping people with skin cancer—the most common cancer worldwide—be cancer free the same day they walk into her outpatient clinic at Ochsner’s Gayle and Tom Benson Cancer Center.
Fellowship trained in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Dr. Walia removes cancers primarily from the head/neck utilizing a highly specialized procedure that takes as little tissue as needed, results in the smallest possible scar, and ensures a 99 percent skin cancer cure rate.
