The motto, ‘Success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it’, has been the throughline of Susan Dinneen’s professional life. Five years ago, after serving as partner at a prominent downtown defense firm, Susan co-founded the law firm Strauss Massey Dinneen LLC, along with two partners. Since then, Susan has worked to nurture the firm’s growth, establishing it as one of the leading, young defense firms in the city. While building a successful firm and representing national clients in complex, contentious litigation would be enough for most, Susan’s strong sense of civic duty drives her to do more. She currently serves on the Board of Commissioners for the Lakeview Crime Prevention District and has previously served on the boards of several non-profit organizations, including the Junior League of New Orleans and Girls on the Run New Orleans. Susan’s professional and civic works have been recognized by designations from Super Lawyers, New Orleans CityBusiness, Inside New Orleans and Biz New Orleans.
