The Louisiana Center for Advanced Medicine (LCAM) was founded in 2019 to fill a growing need of care for underserved patients with rare, chronic inherited blood disorders. LCAM utilizes an integrated multi-disciplinary approach and partners with community providers, academic institutions, public sector organizations, community leaders and surrounding hospitals to provide comprehensive and cohesive care. 

“We have a beautiful spa-retreat like space that is very welcoming to patients of all ages—adults and children,” says Dr. Tammuella “Tami” Chrisentery-Singleton, Director. LCAM provides a medical home for children with chronic conditions and includes social work, pharmacy, customized infusion suites, and dedicated nursing personnel.

Dr. Singleton and the LCAM team works to help patients live healthier and longer while providing patient-centered integrated care. A Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist, Dr. Singleton offers quality subspecialty care for patients with pediatric and congenital hematological disorders and has been named a Top Doctor in Louisiana every year since 2006. A respected author and speaker on hemophilia with an accomplished and extensive medical resume, Dr. Singleton is a Louisiana native, proud to serve such an inspiring community.
