Taste of Africa Fest 2025 Announced in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – AfrobeatNOLA announced The Taste of Africa Fest, which they share will showcase delicious, authentic African cuisine, music, dance and culture.

The event will feature authentic food vendors from Nigeria, Ghana, Benin, Togo, Ethiopia and Haiti, as well as vegan options from the motherland.

The musical lineup consists of live African dance & drumming performance by Nkiruka African Dance Company, Togalese singer Kodjo, Nigerian DJ Ojay, South African DJ Shan Li, Guyanese percussionist Majek Fingers, West African DJ Chika, Afrobeat artist Kari Jay, and Louisiana’s own DJ T-Roy.

The event will be hosted by Kodjo the Hypeman of Afrobeat NOLA and will also have an African dance competition, free African rhythms history lesson, and two stages of music.

Taste of Africa NOLA takes place Saturday, July 19, from 4-11 p.m. at Broadside NOLA, 600 N Broad St.
