Terry Onebane

While many antiques stores may seem stodgy, Terry and Paul Onebane strive to make their store, Antiques and Wholesale Furnishings, welcoming. “People feel very much at home and they are not intimidated by the surroundings. It’s not your average stuffy antique store,” Terry Onebane says.

Terry OnebaneEstablished in March 2006, Antiques and Wholesale Furnishings sells Continental, Oriental and American antiques, along with decorative furnishings. In addition to the Onebanes, manager Anne Archer and interior designer Margaret Richmond are part of the team.

The Onebanes travel throughout the world to personally select all the items in the store. Right now, Terry says painted and distressed furniture is in high demand, adding that French Country tables and chairs are also popular.

What’s one of your goals as a retailer?
To bring quality antiques to the general public at affordable prices.

What do you have going on this month?
We’ll have a new European and Oriental container arriving. The best deals and selection on quality antiques and decorative furnishings in the New Orleans area can be found here. Because of the size of our warehouse, we can offer the largest selection of French and Oriental antiques.
