I’m not yet in the stage of life where my kids (or even friend’s kids) are graduating from high school or college. So even as graduation party pics began infiltrating my social media feed, I sat back with the hubris of spectator. Quite smugly enjoying my lack of responsibility, because isn’t May already packing in enough responsibilities? I figured, my time will come, but it’s not now. Wrong. No sooner did I pack away any creative graduation gift ideas, did I receive an invitation in the mail for the graduation ceremony of a former colleague’s child. Alas, I am not free! Kidding aside, I am thrilled for this child, but now I’ve really got to get the creative ball rolling. I honestly can’t remember what anyone gave me at that age, so I’m starting from scratch! Thus, I decided to head over to The Rink and ask for ideas. Here are my favorites:

Judy:
Acrylic Case with drawers – monogrammed
Mini Painting of your Alma Mater (high school or college)
Anywhere Diffuser – because dorm rooms aren’t known for their fragrance
Cutting Board– (college grads)- monogrammed

Garden District Book Shop:
We Can Do Hard Things : Answers to Life’s 20 Questions by Glennon Doyle & Abby Wambach
The Book of Alchemy: A Creative Practice for an Inspired Life by Suleika Jaoud

Maisonette:
Rachael Robe – with Monogram
