NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Bower is set to host a three-course Witch’s Luncheon on Fridays, Oct. 24, and Oct. 31, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Executive Chef Marcus Woodham is cooking up delicious dishes for $48 per person (excluding tax, gratuity, and beverage). First course options include Whipped Feta with house pickles and grilled baguette; Beef Tartare with Fiji apples, grain mustard, crispy caper berries, gherkins, farm egg, gnocco fritto; and Sunchoke & Blue Crab Soup with Jumbo lump crab and basil pesto salad. Second course choices include Roasted Sweet Potato with Italian black rice, curried collard greens, apple caramel chutney, spicy peanuts; Petite Filet with sweet potato, caramelized onions, lion’s mane mushroom, and cherry and veal reduction; and Jumbo Lump Crab & Lion’s Mane Mushroom Sandwich with whipped goat cheese, bread & butter pickles, spicy celeriac remoulade, arugula, and apple salad. For dessert, enjoy the Warm Apple Cobbler or the Chocolate Whoopie Pie. Sinister specialty cocktails will also be available.
