NEW ORLEANS – The Eliza Jane Hotel released their special events and cocktails to celebrate Mardi Gras and Valentine’s Day in the middle of the action.
Both the hotel’s restaurant, Couvant, and lounge, The Press Room, will have specials for this special time of the year.
For Valentine’s Day, Couvant is inviting couples to celebrate love in the heart of downtown. Guests are invited to enjoy a crafted, multi-course prix fixe menu showcasing seasonal ingredients and French-inspired Southern flavors designed for a romantic evening out. For the Carnival season, the hotel itself will sport a seasonal touch with what they’re saying is over-the-top decor from the front entrance to inside.
The Press Room is hosting a Mardi Gras–inspired cocktail menu celebrating the colors, flavors and spirit of the season. Featuring cocktails such as the Zulu King, Tropical Storm and more – they are playful nods to classic New Orleans cocktails offering a spirited way to experience Mardi Gras without leaving the French Quarter fringe.
In addition to Valentine’s Day, the Couvant team shares it is turning up the energy with a Couvant Carnival Drag Brunch celebration on Friday, Feb. 13 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Guests can expect bold flavors, vibrant performances and festive cocktails as brunch meets Mardi Gras flair. The lively experience brings together elevated cuisine, entertainment and plenty of sparkle — perfect for locals and visitors looking to celebrate Carnival season in style.
