NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Eliza Jane hotel recently announced it’s event lineup for the holiday season.
Spirits Aglow at The Press Room | Nov. 15 to Jan. 5
- The Eliza Jane’s courtyard will transform into a winter wonderland with twinkling lights, and The Press Room will be serving specialty cocktails, including:
- Boozy Hot Chocolate (Rich Hot Chocolate, Bourbon, Whipped Cream, Candy Canes)
- You’ll Shoot Your Eye Out (Bourbon, Gingerbread Syrup, Tiki Bitters, Nutmeg, Gingerbread Crumbs, Egg White)
- Elfing Around (Mezcal, Amaro, Pomegranate, Port, Rosemary)
Thanksgiving at Couvant | Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Gather with loved ones you are grateful for on Thanksgiving over a three-course meal at Couvant. Executive Chef Ryan Pearson has added a twist to traditional dishes and will be serving items like Butternut Squash Velouté with wild mushrooms and prosciutto, Heritage Roasted Turkey and Sweet Potato Pecan Pie.
- Price: $70/person. A kid’s menu is available for children 12 and under for $35/person.
Réveillon Dinner at Couvant | Dec. 1 to 24 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily (closed Mondays)
- Every day in December, Couvant will offer a Réveillon specialty menu alongside its regular dinner menu. The first course is Truffled Butternut Squash Velouté with pancetta, crème fraîche, brioche, the second course is a choice of either Crispy Skin Gulf Fish with grapefruit beurre blanc, blue crab, fingerling potatoes and spinach or Brioche Crusted Beef Tenderloin served with asparagus, king trumpet mushrooms and sauce diable, and the dessert is Crème Brûlée.

Christmas Brunch at Couvant | Dec. 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Guests can indulge in a decadent brunch on Christmas Day at Couvant! The first course is a choice of Oysters Noel, which are crispy fried oysters with brie cheese and lemon beurre blanc, or Truffled Butternut Squash Velouté with pancetta, crème fraîche, brioche. The second course is steak and eggs with a mushroom hash, and the dessert is the restaurant’s signature Crème Brûlée.

New Year’s Eve Dinner at Couvant | Dec. 31 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Make your last meal of 2024 one to remember at Couvant! Enjoy a specialty three-course menu with choices including Butternut Squash Velouté aux Truffes, Huitres with horseradish cream, paddlefish caviar, Boeuf Bourguignon, Espadon Grillé, Chocolate Fondant and more.
