The First Dance

After the excitement of the planning and the ceremony itself, the real fun begins at the reception. Traditionally, the joyous couple will each dance with their parent and, of course, their first dance as newlyweds. The first dance can be a fun way for the couple to express their individual style and maybe even show off some killer dance moves. A couple can go the slow, traditional route or even spice it up with a chart topper.

When picking your first dance tune, remember that it’s about the two of you as a couple. What do you want to say to each other? To your family and friends?

We love that the first dance can literally be any expression of your love. It can be an old Righteous Brothers hit or a country twang ballad.
