Daniel Hammer is Deputy Director of The Historic New Orleans Collection (THNOC). Daniel explains that THNOC, “is a museum, research center, and publisher.” THNOC was founded in 1966 to preserve and celebrate the history of the Gulf South and the City of New Orleans. For half of a century, THNOC has collected over one million items from more than three centuries to document moments both major and minor.
