The Louisiana SPCA Participates in 2025 PetSmart National Adoption Week

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Louisiana SPCA is bringing adoptable pets from both its New Orleans and Plaquemines campuses to local PetSmart stores for PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week, March 24 – 29. This special event will offer reduced adoption fees of just $25 in hopes of finding the animals forever homes. During the weeklong adoption event, adopters can take advantage of a $25 adoption fee for all animals – puppies, kittens and adults. Each pet is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered, and include one month of MetLife Pet Insurance and discounted online training through GoodPup.

PetSmart New Orleans Claiborne (2900 S. Claiborne Ave. #300, New Orleans, La 70115) 

PetSmart Westbank (1321 Manhattan Blvd., Harvey, La 70058) 

Dates & Times:

Monday – Wednesday, March 24 – 26 (Both locations, cats only): 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. 

Thursday, March 27th (Claiborne location only): 3 – 7 p.m. 

Friday, March 28th (Both locations): 3 – 7 p.m. 

Saturday, March 29th (Both locations): 12 – 5 p.m.
