NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Topping the list of the best holiday traditions and decorations to experience in New Orleans and the U.S., The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel is proud to announce the dates for its annual holiday Teddy Bear Tea, beginning Sunday, Dec. 1 through Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019.
The adored Roosevelt Teddy Bear has been collected by guests of all ages and symbolizes the priceless memories of a true New Orleans Christmas. This announcement marks the first chance guests have to catch a glimpse of the new bear before the teas start in December. Each attendee will be gifted a Roosevelt Teddy Bear.
The family-loved event takes guests on an exciting holiday journey with visits from Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and other special guests. This enchanting holiday tea party presents delicious celebratory food, specialty teas and tasty pastries, as well as sparkling wine and mimosas for adults. During the event, pictures with Santa will be available for purchase, Mrs. Claus will share some of her favorite holiday stories and special North Pole visitors will parade through the ballroom, visiting with children.
Santa and his elves are hard at work this year preparing for this popular event that delights and excites children of all ages. Dates and times of each Teddy Bear Tea seating are as follows:
General reserved seating is priced at $55 for children ages 3-10 and $75 for all older than 11, including adults. Limited VIP reserved seating includes Roosevelt champagne flutes for adults, one commemorative photo per family and premium seating near the stage. The VIP seating is available for $82 for children ages 3-10 and $102 for all older than 11, including adults. For those interested in the ultimate Teddy Bear Tea experience, The Roosevelt New Orleans offers the Golden Table package, which provides premier front and center seating by the stage for 10 people, enhanced food and champagne, and keepsakes for children and adults. In addition, Santa and all of his holiday characters will personally visit with the table and sign holiday books for the children. Pricing for this exclusive package is $1500 per table.
