NEW ORLEANS (press release) – This fall, a new musical on the life of jazz legend Louis Armstrong will debut at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans from October 1-8. Through its partnership with Broadway in New Orleans, The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, is offering new and specialty experiences to celebrate the triumphant tribute to New Orleans’ favorite native son.
Whether you plan on attending the matinee on Oct. 7, or just want more opportunities to experience the world of Louis Armstrong, The Roosevelt Hotel will hold a pre-show special brunch in the famous Blue Room – where Satchmo himself once performed! On top of delicious brunch fare and fabulous drinks, guests will also enjoy live jazz entertainment in honor of Armstrong’s legendary career and undeniable influence in the world of jazz.
The all-inclusive brunch is $69 per person, plus taxes and gratuities, and features a buffet including classic breakfast fare as well as a few additional treats such as an Omelet Station, a Carved-to-Order Station, Pan Seared Poulet Rouge, NOLA BBQ Shrimp, Boudin Balls, Pecan Tartlets and Chocolate Verrines.
