NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Roots of Music announced the organization is excited to promote and preserve the rich musical heritage of New Orleans leading up to Super Bowl LIX. The Roots of Music Marching Crusaders band program will perform at the following public events:
- Tuesday, Feb. 4: Toyota Super Bowl Flag Football Game
- Saturday, Feb. 8: Super Bowl Parade
- Saturday, Feb. 8: Toyota NFL Experience
Additionally, the Marching Crusaders and Roots Studio Academy programs will be performing at several private events next week. The students in these programs range from nine to 18 years of age and are very excited to be a part of such a momentous moment for their city.
“Being a part of the fanfare surrounding the 2025 Super Bowl is something our students will remember for the rest of their lives,” said Chief Operations Officer of The Roots of Music Erica Spruille. “We’re looking forward to the opportunities we’ve been given for our students to showcase their talent and to demonstrate the meaning behind our mission.”
