The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans is the first establishment in Louisiana to offer products and treatments from acclaimed French skincare brand Biologique Recherche.
Inspired by the allure of the bon vivant lifestyle and a hint of excess, The Spa combines French beauty techniques and treatments with state-of-the-art technology to create immediate results.

Combined with highly customized protocols and meticulous procedures that recondition the epidermis, Biologique Recherche’s extensive range of skincare products are highly concentrated in botanical, marine and biological active ingredients that are formulated with no artificial fragrance in its own laboratory in France. Each treatment is based on a personalized dermo-cosmetic diagnosis to ensure they match each guest’s needs.
Taking a cue from the destination, The Spa offers thoughtfully curated treatments to erase the effects of a late night out on the town and have guests looking and feeling their best. Après-treatment, enjoy a lagniappe of bubbles and nibbles in the relaxation lounge overlooking the Crescent City and the Mississippi River. Guests can choose from a selection of Massages, Facials, Wraps, Skin Treatments, Brow and Lash Treatments. Signature treatments include:
- Triple Lift Facial – An intensive treatment that helps fight against signs of premature skin ageing. The combination of active serums, Remodeling Machine, and the Micropuncture Lab stimulates collagen production for immediately visible results, leaving the skin plump and flawless.
- The Body Method – This light and soothing, full-body massage uses gentle rhythmic and calming strokes to nurture the body and offer that je ne sais quoi. Perfect to counter the effects of an indulgent night out, this treatment will reduce water retention while refining and shaping the silhouette, leaving the body feeling light and vibrant.
- Southern Gentleman – Inspired by New Orleans’ most famous cocktail, the Sazerac, this therapeutic massage follows through on alleviating tension and deep-seated stress. Bright citrus and lemon stimulate the senses during a vigorous foot exfoliation followed by a targeted, deep tissue massage utilizing a warm, spiced infusion of rye whiskey oil. The treatment concludes with a classic Sazerac and seasonal bar snacks in the relaxation lounge overlooking the Crescent City, leaving guests rejuvenated and primed for all the adventures that await.
- Spa de Deux – Indulge together while enjoying a side-by-side massage. Begin the spa experience with a soak in an enchanting couples’ bath infused with essential oils, followed by an indulgent body treatment customized to the guest’s preferences and target areas. At 5,525 square feet (513 square meters), The Spa offers eight treatment rooms, including a couple’s room with a soaking tub. A relaxation lounge, steam room, and cool mist experience, as well as his and her locker rooms complete the space. The boutique offers favourites from Biologique Recherche, along with stylish new lifestyle products. A quarterly program of visiting experts will welcome the most sought-after aestheticians and wellness therapists from across the United States.
Design elements include the use of raw white oak, shutters, grey travertine, rattan, and abstraction of wrought iron silhouette-projecting lamps, completing this calming space within the vibrant city. The beautiful environment is embellished with artwork by Nicole Charbonnet and Allison Janae Hamilton.
