The New Orleans Museum of Art is featuring a new exhibit called “The Elegant Image: Bronzes from the Indian Subcontinent.” Many pieces in the exhibit come from the collection of Dr. Siddharth Bhansali, who lives here in New Orleans. These bronze sculptures from the Jain, Hindu and Buddhist spiritual traditions span centuries. Never before has such a collection been gathered in one place.
