Third Annual Pardoning Of The Crawfish To Be Held In Lafayette

BATON ROUGE, La. (press release) – Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser and the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board will host the 3rd Annual Pardoning of the Crawfish at Cypress Lake Plaza on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. This year’s pardoning will be held on its traditional day, the Tuesday following Mardi Gras, March 12 at 3:00 p.m. Started in 2017 by Lt. Gov. Nungesser, this unique event celebrates crawfish season in Louisiana and across the Gulf South.
