Thibodaux Regional expanded its cardiovascular services by recruiting a highly-trained cardiac electrophysiologist (EP) and acquiring technology to launch an EP program within the catheterization lab, delivering comprehensive services for arrhythmia care.
Additionally, Thibodaux Regional is a designated Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission and is the first and only hospital in Region 3 (Assumption, Lafourche, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Mary, and Terrebonne Parishes) to achieve this designation, meeting the highest standards for treatment of stroke patients.

Thibodaux Regional committed funds for additional resources for the Nursing program, such as equipment needed to ensure state-of-the-art training for students, hire new faculty members to support program expansion, support the retention of current program faculty, assist in professional development of nursing faculty, and increase nursing candidates in its undergraduate program to meet the need for nurses in the region.
