NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The excitement is building as tickets for the highly anticipated 51st Annual Bayou Classic will go on sale this week, alongside the opening of the hotel block for this iconic event. Presented by Procter & Gamble, this year’s Bayou Classic is scheduled to take place on Nov. 29-30 at the iconic Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Tickets for this iconic series of events will go on sale on Friday, April 19, at 10 a.m. CST.
As one of the nation’s premier HBCU Classics, the Bayou Classic brings together fans from across the country to witness the thrilling gridiron matchup between the Grambling State University Tigers and the Southern University Jaguars. In addition to the main event on Saturday, Nov. 30, fans can also purchase tickets for the Battle of the Bands & Greek Show, set to kick off the weekend’s festivities on Friday, Nov. 29, at the Caesars Superdome.

Tickets for the 51st Annual Bayou Classic Football Game are available on every seating level of the Caesars Superdome, with prices ranging from $20 to $199 for advance purchases. Exclusive VIP North End Zone tickets are also available for $150, offering premium seating, exclusive gameday entrance, access to the End Zone Club, and complimentary popcorn and soft drinks.
For the Battle of the Bands & Greek Show, general admission tickets start at $25, with options for reserved seating also available. Please note that ticket prices will increase by $10 on the event day.
On game day, the Southern University Jaguars will be the home team mainly sitting on the West Side near sections 129-156 of the Caesars Superdome and the Grambling University Tigers will be the visiting team mainly sitting on the East Side near Sections 101-128.
For Battle of the Bands & Greek Show, the Southern University “Human Jukebox” Marching Band will be on the South End Zone side of the Caesars Superdome and the Grambling State University Tiger Marching Band will be on the North End Zone side.
In addition to securing tickets, fans can now reserve accommodations through the official Bayou Classic hotel block. By booking within the block, attendees can take advantage of special rates at select hotels near the Caesars Superdome, ensuring a seamless and convenient experience throughout the weekend.
