Toasting for Ten

The Audubon Tea Room played host to many a dapper guest when Family Services of Greater New Orleans honored top locals who are dedicated to the community at this year’s Ten Outstanding Persons Gala.

Held on the evening of October 2, the black tie event acknowledged those dedicated community leaders for their volunteer, charitable and civic service to the local community. The night’s honorees were Janet Frischhertz, Frank Glaviano, G. Ben Johnson, Bill Oliver, Rosalind Peychaud, Greg Rusovich, Tim Ryan, Patricia Riddlebarger, Madalyn Schenk and Cecile Tebo.

Co-chairs for the gala were Sandra Cahill, Kathleen Robert and Cheryll Cascio, who presided over guests and ensured revelry abounded. Angela Hill of WWL-TV got the ball rolling as mistress of ceremonies, and afterwards local musical act Last Straws got everyone moving to the beat.

Guests enjoyed an elegant seated dinner, all the while admiring floral
arrangements provided by Federico Family Florist.
