NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Lab & Lounge, a concept salon created by Morgan Dixon of M.A.D. Nails is excited to officially announce their Uptown, Magazine street location. This will mark Dixon’s eighth year in New Orleans and her 10th as a nail artist.
Next-door neighbors with popular Israeli restaurant Shaya, Lab and Lounge is a unique space that offers a variety of beauty services.
New services include hair, lash and skincare treatments, and a dedicated retail area features new and antique items for sale. Guests can pop in during their lunch break for a 30 minute Express Facial, waterless pedicure, or blowout. Other services include natural hair and braiding services, lash extensions and refills, monthly deals and kid-friendly specials.
Lab & Lounge’s decor is inspired by the same aesthetics often seen in Morgan’s work. Greek columns, white shelves with gold details, and plants dotted all around create a sophisticated and lively vibe that’s reminiscent of Italian luxury. Bright accent colors, clothing of all patterns and materials, and 3D wall art give the salon a maximalist art-deco edge that is fun and authentic.
“I want Lab & Lounge: A Concept Salon to provide a safe space for neighbors and visitors alike to relax, shop, and socialize while our professionals bring their personal expressions to life,“ said owner and head nail artist Morgan Dixon. “We know your time is precious, so I created a space with everyone’s needs in mind. I want clients to have the different services they seek under one roof. A community.”
Lab & Lounge is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. six days a week, Monday through Saturday.
Appointments can be made by phone at (631) 938-6245 and guests are encouraged to book online at https://www.labandlounge.com/book-appointment.
