The summer in New Orleans continues to roll on with no view of cooler weather in sight. While you’re waiting and dreaming of colder weather, it’s good to start thinking of your new fall fashion. Whether you’re a bride looking to dress her maids in the colors of the season or a guest with an upcoming list of multiple weddings, a perfect crop of colors have been picked to complete the fall season.
“The desire for tranquility, strength, and optimism have inspired a Fall 2016 color palette that is led by the Blue family,” says Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. “The unexpectedly vivacious colors in our Fall 2016 palette act as playful but structured departures from your more typical fall shades.”
A few of our favorites are the blue hues and rich shades they have added to the list.
The new Pantone Riverside color, as well as Airy Blue bring a chic ice queen feel to the furs and velvets marked as must-haves this fall. On the opposite end, the new Lush Green and Bodacious hues, along with the Aurora Red add a rich and elegant vibrance to the mix that is typically filled with muted and neutral colors.
For your maids, try an icy blue hue like this Sorella Vita v-neck tulle option paired with bodacious, vibrant pink flowers like this bouquet from Poppy and Mint Floral Company.

If you’re a guest looking to dress to impress, opt for a rich, jumpsuit like this look from Blink Boutiques.
Not matter which 2016 hue you add to your wedding or closet, you can’t go wrong with this Fall lineup.
