Trinity Community Center Announces Back to School Festival

Annual Festival and Family Resource Fair to give out Free School Supplies

NEW ORLEANS – Trinity Community Center (TCC) will host its annual Back to School Festival and Family Resource Fair this Friday, July 26. TCC will be giving away 100 bookbags filled with school supplies for the upcoming 2019 school year.

Event details are as follows:

  • Location: Trinity Community Center – 3908 Joliet St., New Orleans
  • Time: 3:30 – 6:30 p.m.

The goal of the festival is to encourage students to get excited for class, while helping families in the Greater New Orleans area get the supplies their children need to succeed.

“Our students mean so much to us,” said Carly E. Hill, executive director at TCC. “We are excited to provide them and their families with much needed supplies and support so that they will be ready to excel this school year.”

The festival will also include several food vendors, musical performances, resource vendors, health screenings and giveaways.

Trinity Community Center is a Hollygrove institution, serving as the premier nonprofit foundation for transforming youth. For over 50 years, TCC has provided opportunity and hope to the youth of Hollygrove from our expansive facility within the Hollygrove neighborhood of New Orleans.
