The next few days are chock full of bridal fashion. Starting today, May 19, through May 27, New Orleans bridal stores have various designer trunk shows around the city.
On May 20 and 21, both The Bridal Boutique by MaeMe and Town and Country are holding trunk shows. MaeMe is featuring designs from Ashley and Justin. Town and Country is featuring a Best of Hayley Paige show. For the first time in Louisiana, May 20-27, Pearl’s Place is holding a Stephen Yearick and Ysa Makino trunk show.
Ashley and Justin Bridal is a fairly new bridal collection from Ashdon Brands. This design collection gives off a sexy, romantic feel. The designs include a lot of lace appliqué with tighter silhouettes and dramatic elements, such as large skirts and plunging necklines. Not all of their designs are slim-fitting. For the bride looking for a more traditional look, the collection includes ball gown, natural waist and A-line options.
Designer Hayley Paige has made a huge name for herself in the bridal world. Previously highlighted on our designer of the week series, Paige’s designs are airy, glamorous and simply beautiful. Her attention to detail and silhouette are the main reasons brides-to-be have been dreaming about owning a Hayley Paige dress.
Stephen Yearick and Ysa Makino are newer designers to our bridal database. Yearick has a flair for the dramatic, adding intricate back detailing, a touch of color or even beading to his designs. Makino is all about a full, dramatic skirt. It seems that with either of these designers, a bride is sure to WOW on her Big Day.
If that isn’t enough, just a quick car ride away, I Do Bridal Couture in Baton Rouge has a Liancarlo Spring 2017 trunk show today and tomorrow only. Liancarlo takes simplistic beauty to a whole new level with this collection.
Each bridal store requires appointments for trunk shows.
