Each month, New Orleans Bride Magazine sends out a newsletter with magazine content and messages from some of the city’s wedding professionals. If you don’t get the newsletter, you should sign up, but for today, you’re in luck. Here are trunk show announcements to add to your calendar as we finish out 2019 and usher in the new year.
First on the list are both the Baton Rouge and the new Covington locations of I Do Bridal Couture. From Dec. 27-28 the Baton Rouge store is hosting a Blush by Hayley Paige show, while the Covington location is hosting a Watters trunk show.
The following is the schedule for both locations in January:
Jan. 10-11: Trunk Show with Galia Couture by Galia Lahav, BR
Jan. 17-18: Trunk Show with Anne Barge, BR
Jan. 17-18: Trunk Show with Rivini & Alyne, COV
Jan. 23-24: Trunk Show with Blue Willow by Anne Barge, BR
Jan. 31-Feb. 1: Trunk Show with Lela Rose, COV
Jan. 31-Feb. 1: Trunk Show with GALA by Galia Lahav, BR
Throughout all shows, the store notes that special incentives will be applied and during each trunk show they will receive additional gowns from the designer’s newest collection.
At the Bridal Boutique by MaeMe this month, the store has what it calls a “giving tree.” From the New Orleans Bride newsletter, any bride that says, “yes,” to their dress during the month can pull an ornament from the tree for a chance to win $250 off of the purchase of their wedding dress. Call the store at 504-266-2771 or visit the website to make an appointment.
Recently on Instagram, Bliss Bridal announced that all of the company’s locations (New Orleans; Fairhope, Alabama; Hattiesburg, Mississippi) now have the ability to dress all of your bridal party. Each location carries tuxedo and suit rentals from Jim’s Formal Wear, as well as the in-house consultants ability to assist with suit and tux purchases.
As we enter into Christmas, we would just like to thank all of our readers and those who have followed along with “Let Them Eat Cake” since the beginning. For the next two weeks, we will be on vacation spending time with our friends and family and to welcome in the new year. We will be back to celebrate our 5th anniversary and more wedding wonders in 2020. May your days be merry and bright and Happy New Year!
