Things aren’t always as they seem. On Nov. 17, a Historic Garden District Home maintained an elegant façade, while they interior was a total circus. That’s because the Make-A-Wish Foundation was holding its fund-raiser, a creative and colorful black-tie gala with an “Under the Big Top” theme.
The party, which began at 7 p.m. at the household of co-chair Deborah Vinson, featured cocktails and a dinner buffet catered by Antoine’s Restaurant, while guests also participated in live and silent auctions. Co-Chairing with Deborah Vinson was Terry Cambise.
Music by Harvey Jesus and Fire kept guests dancing until the end of the night (around midnight) and Irma Thomas also made a special appearance.
