Unitech Training Academy

Founder/CEO, Deanna Head

As Founder and CEO of Unitech Training Academy, Deanna Head has been responsible for growing an invaluable institution that benefits employees and employers in Acadiana and beyond. What started with one small building in Lafayette in 1997 has grown to seven campuses across Louisiana that offer field-specific job training to future employees and skilled, well trained graduates to Louisiana’s employers. From healthcare trades to early childhood ancillary training and IT support, the programs offered are diverse and impactful. Together with her son, Noah Brandon, COO, and nephew, Brooks Powell, CFO, Deanna furthers Unitech’s mission of imparting individuals with not only the skills to get a job, but the skills to maintain that job.

Committed to supporting the individuals and communities of Acadiana, Deanna has served on numerous boards of area non-profits. She started the Vampire’s Ball, which initially supported the former organization Acadiana Youth. This year, the Vampire Ball will benefit Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF).
