University of Holy Cross Upgrades “Fast-Track” Program as the Region’s First Accelerated Business Degree that Includes Work Experience for Credit

823c28bf Dcfa 4438 A3e1 8c1a7d40f5f8NEW ORLEANS (press release) – University of Holy Cross (UHC) has launched its upgraded “Fast Track” program, a first of its kind Accelerated Business degree program in the region that now allows working adults to receive credit for current work experience toward a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Management.

Beginning Fall 2021, UHC will for the first time offer two flexible and affordable options of the program – both hybrid and 100% fully online for working professionals who want to complete their undergraduate business degree in as few as 19 months with a 40% reduction in traditional college costs.

Returning college students with 42 credits or more will quality for the new upgraded “Fast Track” Accelerated Business program and can be granted up to 15 college credits based on the length and quality of their current jobs through a special Prior Learning Assessment Portfolio for only $74 per credit hour.

“Traditional college business degrees can mean significant costs and time commitments for people who are juggling their current job and family responsibilities at home. With the ’Fast-Track’ program, anyone with college and work experience now has an opportunity to complete their business degree in about half the time of regular college course work,” said Chair of UHC’s Business Administration Department Dr. Armine Shahoyan.

The fast-paced hybrid courses last only four to five weeks with one-night-a-week classes, and the online course option follows the same quick schedule. The new upgraded “Fast-Track” Accelerated Business degree program offers those who have been struggling during the pandemic the possibility of a new career path or promotion in their existing fields.
