NEW ORLEANS (press release) – In the weeks ahead:
Friday, June 21, 5 – 9 p.m.: Self-described “NOLAmerican” musician Lynn Drury will perform during Friday Nights at NOMA.
Sunday, June 23, 6:30 – 9 p.m.: NOMA will partner with Narrative 4 for an admission-free Evening of Music and Literature as eight renowned international authors will read from their works, accompanied by live music that reflects the individual author’s home nation.
Friday, June 29, 5 – 9 p.m.: NOMA’s next major exhibition, Bodies of Knowledge, opens with a dance performance at 5 pm during Friday Nights at NOMA specially choreographed for the occasion, along with gallery talks by represented artists, and music in the Great Hall by Amigos de Samba.
