NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Urban South Brewery is hosting “A Celebration of Coastal Harmony”, an event in support of those who have been impacted by Gulf Coast hurricanes in Louisiana. On Friday, Nov. 5, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the New Orleans taproom, one dollar from every Who Dat and Dey Here for Dat pint or six-pack sold will be donated to the Coastal Harmony Relief Fund, where funds are being rapidly directed to organizations doing on-the-ground hurricane relief work. Current organizations include United Way of Southeast Louisiana and Second Harvest Food Bank.
The event will feature Urban South’s newest beer release, Dey Here for Dat, a hazy New England IPA brewed in collaboration with Listermann Brewing Co., alongside local favorite Who Dat Golden Ale. Guests will enjoy music from DJ Just B and food provided by Hatch + Harvest. The artists and makers of Bayou Yacht Club will host a local maker’s market and Rebuilding Together New Orleans will be onsite with information about revitalization in Orleans Parish.
Urban South Brewery has raised $12,000 so far since revitalizing the Coastal Harmony Relief Fund in September. The Celebration of Coastal Harmony event will help Urban South meet its goal to raise $50,000 for hurricane relief in Louisiana before the end of the year.
