This week, we reported on the Ochsner EatFit Alcohol Free for 40 initiative as a way for you and your partner to detox and prep for your Big Day.
Recently, the vegan restaurant Seed reopened with new owners and a new menu taking vegan food in New Orleans to the next level. Not only is the food vegan and health friendly, but they also have a mocktail menu making it a serendipitous pick for an alcohol-free month.
Recently, we were invited by the restaurant to come and try a few menu items. The atmosphere of Seed is trendy and inviting with a cute bar space that compliments the main dining area of the restaurant with its darker hues and cozier vibe.
If you’re vegan, vegetarian or a full-blown carnivore, the new restaurant is an ideal spot for a date night with you and your partner. Their bar snacks like buffalo tofu nuggets, mocktail and cocktail menus, starters and sandwiches offer something for even the pickiest eater – and the best part is you don’t even miss meat or dairy products.
Favorites for us included the Sense and Sensibility cocktail (not Alcohol Free for 40 approved), tofu nuggets and the eggplant shawarma.
