Learn the skills to become your PET’s Best Defense in an emergency.
In this four-hour class (currently held on Zoom, in-person classes suspended due to COVID-19), they will cover common issues such as choking, insect bites, and bloat as well as more severe situations such as bleeding, seizures and how and when to conduct CPR.
There will be time for questions after the class. Included is a multiple question quiz with two-year certification upon passing. Also included is a digital manual and checklists for new puppies and kittens, wellness assessments, and disaster preparedness.
This class is great for people working with pets, pet caretakers of all ages, and anyone interested in learning something new. They encourage you to have your pet (if willing) or a stuffed animal near for practicing first-aid skills during the class. Upon registration you will be sent an email with class details, digital manual, and frequently asked questions.
