NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Vue Orleans welcomes Poppy Tooker for an appearance and book signing in The Story Café in the main exhibit hall of the newly opened cultural experience. Poppy, a culinary activist, has been instrumental in reviving endangered local foods and is considered the expert on all things Louisiana cuisine. She will share her cookbooks and stories with guests.
Inside Vue Orleans, Poppy and Chef Kevin Belton are featured in the digital café, teaching about some of the most iconic New Orleans dishes, including gumbo, jambalaya, king cake, and more.
