For years, Sarah Jessica Parker and her character Carrie Bradshaw from the popular HBO show, "Sex and the City" have been the style envy and inspiration for fans everywhere. In February of 2014, Parker debuted her own shoe line, the SJP Collection, and gave women the opportunity to add a little Carrie Bradshaw into their wardrobe. The SJP Collection is a favorite among shoe-lovers, gaining 400,000 followers on Instagram alone. The line – which can be found in Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and online at Zappos.Com – is comprised of pumps, flats, sandals and wedges, all for the modern-day woman looking to add designer shoes to her collection at a less than designer price.
Yesterday, Parker and her SJP Collection unveiled a bridal-specific line on Zappos Couture. Two of the four bridal styles are new to the SJP line and the others are based off of the collection’s bestseller “Fawn.” There is an all lace version, as well as a bright blue satin. Besides the bridal white and off-white hues, each of the shoes is detailed with its own “something blue.”
The “Angelica” shoe, new to the collection, has the same feel as the famous blue Manolo Blahnik shoes Parker wears in the “Sex and the City” movie and we foresee it being the new best seller of the bridal collection.
Each style would go well with any bridal look. Pair the lace “Fawn” style under your long, flowing gown or maybe slide on the bright blue version with your white skirt suit for a City Hall soiree. Whatever the occasion may be, you can’t go wrong the SJP bridal collection.
