Wedding Flowers For Every Season: Spring

Pantone’s pick for “Color of the Year” 20204, “Peach Fuzz,” is a color that works perfectly not only with flower arrangements, but also for spring! With the weather being almost perfect lately, we’re in a spring mood – hanging on for as long as it stays with us.

Not only does peach look great with light spring-inspired hues, the season is also a time when brides should be finalizing or having more in-depth conversations with their florist of choice about what florals will fit their spring wedding theme.

We chatted with Destiny Pinson of Doris Ione to see which flowers she loves for the coming season.

Pinson says, “Here in New Orleans, we definitely need to take the weather into account when choosing wedding flowers.”

Her picks for spring: “Take advantage of all the soft spring blooms. Early spring gives us sweet peas, daffodils and poppies while later in the spring we get peonies, clematis and lilac.”

Poppies, peonies and lilac are a few of our favorites as well, but with so many gorgeous options the choice is yours!
