Week of March 11: Trivia, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter Bakes

Thursday night is Trivia Night (and every Thursday) at Skeeta Hawk Brewery. Enjoy craft beer, music, prizes and food truck pop-ups. Loyal customers can also rack up points for prizes.

Whether you are getting ready for a day of parading, shopping or even just relaxing at home, Coffee Science’s cream buns start the morning off deliciously. Choose between coffee cream, strawberries and cream, chocolate mousse, and matcha cream filling. Or one of each?

It’s Irish coffee season! We are crazy about Gris Gris’ frozen version, made with bourbon, Bailey’s Irish cream, chocolate liqueur and cold brew coffee. Enjoy it at the restaurant or pick up a half gallon to go.  Perfect for sipping all month long or as a parade watching pick-me-up.

If you’re downtown, celebrate St. Paddy’s Day at Molly’s at the Market. They’ll have pints of green beer (plus Irish coffee) to help quench your thirst. It’s a no-brainer!

Finn McCool’s in Mid-City is serving up fish and chips, Jameson cold brew, frozen mimosas, and, of course, plenty of Guiness to keep your (Irish) eyes smiling at its annual St. Patrick’s Day block party and world’s shortest parade.

Easter is right around the corner! Let the pros bake for you this year. La Boulangerie has opened up pre-order for Key lime pie, carrot cakes, strawberry tarts, cheese cakes and more to make your Sunday celebration easy as, well, pie.
