The Thanksgiving po-boy is back at Parkway! Each Wednesday in November, the iconic po-boy shop will have its annual fundraiser benefitting the Al Copeland Foundation’s efforts to beat cancer. If you’re impatient, like me, you can “skip the line” for an extra donation and get the po-boy, plus goodies like a special tee, drink and dessert.

Starting on Nov. 10, New Orleans chefs are teaming up with create a special dining series benefitting hurricane relief efforts in North Carolina, with 100% of proceeds going to the Always Asheville Fund. Participating restaurants include: La Boca, Brasa, Lilette, Commander’s Palace, Galatoire’s, Mister Mao, La Petit Grocery and more. Reservations will fill up quickly so be sure to make your plans! Finally, for those who are really thinking ahead, New Orleans favorite Miss Shirley’s reservation list is now open for Christmas Day! The restaurant will be open on Dec. 25, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for dine-in by reservation only and scheduled take-out orders. Email information to save your spot. Take-out orders may be placed starting in December!
