Week of October 23: Where to Have Some Halloween Fun

Halloween Fun!

Kick Halloween week of with some spooky fun Twilight-themed bingo at Miel Brewery this Tuesday, Oct. 24, 7 to 9 p.m. Costumes are encouraged (a must?) and there will be spooky prizes, Southerns food truck, photo ops and more.

Celebrate spooky season and shop local vendors at the Halloween Art Market at Zony Mash this Saturday, Oct. 28, noon to 4 p.m. Enjoy live music by Marc Stone Trio, sip some tasty beers, and peruse vendors with vintage finds, jewelry, unique art and more. The event is dog friendly and Sanguiche will be selling tasty treats as well.

Furry friends will also compete for “top dog” at the Howl-O-Weenie costume contest this Saturday, Oct. 28, 3 to 5 p.m. at Dat Dog on Magazine Street. Registers on site from noon to 3 to have your pup walk the “dog”walk for costumed judges and enjoy festive fun!

Get your best costumes in order for a family-friendly Halloween Spooktacular trick or treat candy giveaway along the Lafitte Greenway, Oct. 31, 6 to 8 p.m. Get more information and RSVP here for this free event.
