Kelly Siegler is an attorney and former Texas prosecutor who successfully tried 68 murder cases in her 21 years on the job, including 20 capital murder death penalty cases in which she secured the death penalty in 19 of those trials. She gets help from veteran detectives, who dig into small-town murder cases that have gone unsolved for years in the hope of getting justice for the victims and their loved ones.

After serving as a British Army nurse in World War II, Claire Randall is enjoying a second honeymoon in Scotland with husband Frank, an MI6 officer looking forward to a new career as an Oxford historian. This comedy series showcases the antics of the residents of Letterkenny, a small rural community in Canada. Siblings Wayne and Katy run a small farm and produce stand, with Wayne’s friends Daryl and “Squirrely” Dan helping out. Many of the town’s inhabitants fall into one of several groups, which include the farmers, or “hicks,” the out-of-towners on the local hockey team, the local drug addicts and the “natives,” who are members of the local First Nation. “Letterkenny” began its life as a YouTube series called “Letterkenny Problems.”

In 2022, a cataclysm strikes Earth, seemingly wiping out the population save for former family man and bank employee Phil Miller. Sad and very lonely, Phil travels the United States, Canada and Mexico in his RV searching for other survivors. Striving to hold onto hope that there is at least one other living person, he tries to make the best of circumstances until his path finally crosses with that hoped-for other survivor — and all becomes more comforting that the person happens to be a woman.

Jack Ryan (Amazon Prime)

Author Tom Clancy introduced the character of Jack Ryan in a series of books before Ryan headed to the big screen in several films. Ryan is thrust into a dangerous field assignment for the first time and uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication.

Based on Stephen King’s best-selling novel of the same name, “The Outsider” begins by following an investigation which at first seems like it will be simple and straightforward but things change as it leads into the gruesome murder of a young boy by a seasoned cop. When an insidious supernatural force edges its way into the case, it leads the investigators to question everything they believe in. The character of Holly Gibney from “Mr. Mercedes” is a major character in this series.
