Where Are We drinking This Week?

Many of our favorite bars are still closed, and government orders may make the waiting game a bit longer. So, where do we grab a great drink? Several places have reached out to us about what they’re offering and we want to share it with all of you.

Barracuda (3984 Tchoupitoulas St.) has outdoor seating with fewer seats than you may remember. Happy hour here runs Tuesday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. During this time you can get select apps along with $5 margaritas and $5 tall cans. Keep in mind cash payment is not accepted.

Cavan (3607 Magazine St.) is hosting happy hour daily from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Here you can choose from $8 select cocktails. The list of great spirits includes martini’s, daily punch, wine and some beer. This is a fun place that is offering nice selections. Don’t forget your mask and keep in mind seating is limited.

The Delachaise (3442 St. Charles Ave. ) doesn’t have your traditional happy hour, but it is open and you can get a great deal. All day, everyday the team here offers $5 select wines. This neighborhood wine bar and bistro still has hundreds of wine choices along with a nice list of cocktail options. And make sure to ask about their frozen selections, too. There is outdoor seating available and social distancing is a must.

If you know of a place offering safe and fun options, let us know. We would love to check it out and share it with cocktail lovers everywhere.
