NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Since Willa Jean opened nearly five years ago, the staple New Orleans restaurant has been serving their version of King Cake with great fanfare. Back by popular demand, Kelly Fields is once again serving her Caramel Crunch King Cake for Mardi Gras, made with a traditional cinnamon sugar filling and topped with a crunchy caramel glaze and cream cheese frosting.
The Caramel Crunch King Cake ($36) will be available for purchase beginning Jan. 6 and online pre-orders will be available via the Willa Jean website starting on Dec. 30. All orders must be placed 48-hours in advance of in-store pick-up. King Cake slices will also be available at the pastry counter for $7.
King Cake will be available at Willa Jean through Feb. 25.
